New Announcements!

Good day TIDFAF Community.

We are so grateful for your ongoing support and excitement regarding our upcoming 3rd Bi-Annual Toronto Int’l Deaf Film & Arts Festival. Tomorrow is the big day and we couldn’t have made it without you.

We do have some unfortunate news however. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the highly acclaimed Shoshannah Stern actress from Adventures of Power, TIDFAF’s Opening Night Gala screening, is no longer able to attend TIDFAF this year.

We are busily working on the possibility of having her join us through technological means and will keep you all posted on any new developments. We are ecstatically proud to have Ari Gold star and director of Adventures joining us live and in colour at the Innis Town Hall for our Opening Night festivities.

To Shoshannah, we wish you the best of luck with your future endeavours and we thank you for your support of TIDFAF. You will be greatly missed but we absolutely understand your circumstances. We look forward to seeing and working with you again in the future.

To all our TIDFAF supporters gear up for a fun filled 3 days and if you haven’t already pleasure purchase your tickets and passes (which by far give you more bang for your buck!) online at www.tidfaf.ca. Tickets will also be available at the door but there are no guarantees and we’ve been known to have a few sold out screenings!

All the best everyone. Have a great day and get ready to festival starting tomorrow!

Thankfully Yours,

Jill Andrew

TIDFAF Director of Media Relations
