2009 welcome message from the festival director

Greetings!

 

Welcome to our 2nd Toronto International Deaf Film and Arts Festival! 

We're pleased to host another festival this year with sponsorship from Canwest Media Inc and as well as other generous sponsors.  We've been busy organizing the upcoming Festival and the Jury programmers are working hard to select the films to showcase at this year's festival. We want to welcome the first ever High School Film Festival's showcase of the students work on the big screen with their families, friends as well as festival's participants. We would like to thank the past host organization, Ontario Cultural Society of the Deaf and volunteers, for the amazing 2006 Festival.

 

TIDFAF welcomes to all filmmakers, and participants to this year festival. We're pleased to welcome the Opening Night Film Gala "Universal Signs" Toronto's own talent, Anthony Natale who graduated from EC Drury School for Deaf.
